Sheesh, us right? Not content with Frank Turner or Ginger Wildheart, we’re now gunning for Mark Chadwick.

It’s fair to say we’re in the best form we’ve been in, over the past 14 years. It’s been an amazing year, and will only improve by the end of 2018.

So how did this come about? My friend Rob Talbot told me he was putting him on only last Friday, in Glastonbury in October. Not only a few days later did I receive an email looking for regional shows on route. I asked Rob if it would be OK, and he very graciously said it would be. Trowbridge is far enough away from Glastonbury as to not affect his show, and we’re very strict on there being only 100 tickets (Rob’s has 300)

So, I have a very intimate show with the Levellers frontman, playing all the classic songs, in a very limited space. This is a hot ticket, please grab them why you can!

Official Bio:

One of the UK’s most successful songwriters, Mark Chadwick, has co-written 20 chart singles and 6 Top 40 albums (including a Number 1) as part of the Levellers, the band he has fronted for over 25 years. Still going strong, the Levellers are festival favourites and have cemented their cherished status with headline performances  at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Cambridge Folk Festival, Bestival and Boomtown and many European and UK events and in 2003 they successfully created their own annual Beautiful Days Festival which takes place in August at Escot Park in Devon.
During this time Mark has released two solo albums ‘All the Pieces’ and ‘Moment’ and his upfront and personal solo performance will see him play a mixture of material from these albums and Levellers classics. Be warned, Mark will have you up dancing!

Support comes from Phil Cooper. Phil is on his 2nd album tour cycle, (being launched in Trowbridge on April 6th & 7th!) and recently shared a post on Facebook about his top 10 albums. One was Mansun, which Phil & I had been swooning over frontman Paul Draper’s solo shows in the past year, so seeing Phil share a Levellers album, I couldn’t type a message quick enough offering him the support. What’s not to like, offering a mate a show he’d love??

Oh, and Phil is local and great – His 2nd album is a career high, and he should be rightly proud.

TICKETS will be priced at a paltry £15 in advance, which we expect to sell out quite quickly. However, in the event there are some available on the door they will be more expensive, let’s say £20.
